Today I was listening to the radio in the car with a 4th-grade girl I babysit for. They said that probably at least 100,000 people had died in Haiti from the earthquake. Caroline says, “Well, I guess that means there are fewer people living on the Earth right now. Unless 100,000 babies were born at the exact same time, but I don’t think that’s possible.”
